Shafaq News/ A curfew took effect in 31 Turkish states at midnight last night for 4 days, as a precautionary measure to cope with the outbreak of the new Corona virus (Covid-19).
According to a circular published by the Ministry of the Interior, "A curfew will be imposed on April 23, 24, 25 and 26 of current April, provided that shops would be open between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. afternoon on Thursday and Friday (during the curfew) due to Ramadan approaching, provided that citizens should buy from the nearest commercial stores." .
Shops will be completely closed on Saturday and Sunday of the curfew days.
Governmental public services institutions will continue to operate, such as airports, ports, border and customs crossings, land roads, nursing homes and elderly care, rehabilitation and emergency centers, emergency and disaster management centers "AFAD", "Al-Wafaa Social Support" offices and many humanitarian relief agencies.
Medical industries, sterilizers, masks, and strategic energy companies will continue to operate.
The generalization stressed that violators of the curfew will impose a financial administrative penalty on them under Article 282 of the Public Health Safety Law, indicating that the necessary judicial procedures will be activated in accordance with Article 195 of the Penal Code, on criminal behavior.
The curfew includes Ankara, Istanbul, Adana, Antalya, Aiden, Balikesir, Bursa, Samsun, Denizli, Diyarbakir, Eskisehir, Gaziantep, Hatay, Izmir, Kahramanmaraş, Kayseri, Kocaeli, Konya, Malatya, Manisa, Mardin , Mersin, Mugla, Ordu, Sakarya, Chanli Urfa, Tekirdag, Trabzon, Zonguldak, Wan.
