Shafaq News / The Ministry of Health of Kurdistan Region announced, on Sunday evening, that no cases of Corona virus have been recorded within the past 24 hours.

The ministry statement to Shafaq News said that during the past 24 hours it has conducted (1082) tests at all levels of the region, including (511) in Erbil, (345) in Sulaimaniyah, and (226) in Dohuk, indicating that the results   showed that all tests are negative and no new infection was recorded.

The statement pointed out that the total number of tests conducted by the ministry since the virus appeared, reached (60,483) tests.

The statement pointed out that the total number of people infected with the novel COVID-19 in Kurdistan Region reached (404) infected people, of whom (5) people died, while (383) were fully recovered, adding that the total remaining infected people under medical treatment is (16) only.
