Shafaq News / Work suspension does not include emergency and hospitals for people infected with coronavirus, The Medical Syndicate in Sulaimaniyah Province in Kurdistan Region announced on Tuesday.
"The suspension of doctors and health personnel’s’ work has started in all health centers and most hospitals, except for emergency and corona hospitals," Dr. Hawzhen Othman, head of the Doctors' Syndicate said.
"We demand our rights and we addressed the cabinet, but they did not respond to us so Sulaimaniyah doctors decided to suspend all work in hospitals,he added
Doctors and health staff began in the cities of Kurdistan Region yesterday to organize a protest against the late payment of their monthly dues, which have been delayed for more than 50 days.
