Shafaq News/ The new governor of Erbil province, the capital of Kurdistan region, Firsat Sofi has taken the oath on Monday.  

Sofi took the oath in front of the President of the Region, Nechirvan Barzani.

Erbil's provincial council elected by a majority vote of its members, on Thursday Sofi Firsat as the new head of the local government, replacing the former governor ,Nozad Hadi who took the office for 15 years.
