Shafaq News / The Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) held a meeting under the supervision of Lahore Sheikh Genki, the joint head of PUK.
During the meeting, which was attended by Qubad Talabani and the PUK team in Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), the Political Bureau discussed the political and living conditions of citizens, the file of forming the new federal government, the security situation in conflict areas, and the dangers of the emergence of the ISIS terrorist organization.
According to PUK statement, the Political Bureau discussed implementing the decentralization system, A the meeting stressed the need to implement the political agreement between PUK and the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) as set out in the government program for the ninth cabinet.
On the political relations of PUK with the parties and other political parties, the meeting stressed the development and further strengthening of those relations towards unity and coordination.
KRG announced on Saturday, that it rejects "all forms of division" within the region and that it will supervise any efforts to achieve administrative decentralization.
Sulaymaniyah Provincial Council recently formed a committee to work on achieving administrative decentralization for Sulaymaniyah and Halabjah governorates and independent departments.
