Shafaq News / 17 billion Iraqi dinars were spent to curb Covid-19 Corona in Kurdistan Region, noting that more than 600 citizens from several countries were evacuated and returned to the region, the coordinator of international recommendations of Kurdistan Regional Government, Dindar Zebari announced on Sunday.

Nearly 17 billion Iraqi dinars were spent to combat Corona virus in Kurdistan Region by international organizations, the Iraqi government, and the regional government that had the burden for the greater part of that amount, Zebari said in a press conference held today.

He pointed out that, under the direction of the President of the Regional Government, hundreds of repatriates were evacuated from other countries, noting that 642 citizens were evacuated to the region from India, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Germany and Britain.
