Shafaq News / The General Directorate of Customs in Kurdistan Region issued several decisions regarding foodstuffs import.

According to an official letter issued by the Directorate, it decided to provide all facilities for the introduction of food, detergents and sanitary supplies to Kurdistan Region.

The Directorate also decided to enter dry foodstuffs after subjecting it to quality control , examination and withdraw samples from it so that it would be allowed to pass the customs with oversight by the Directorate and in cooperation and under the supervision of the Governorate and administrative units in the districts and districts, and save the goods in special stores.

For his part, the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Sulaimaniyah, Sirwan Muhammad said in a press statement that the Chamber informed all trade that they can import from the border outlets of   Kurdistan Region in accordance with the instructions of the General Customs Directorate.
