Shafaq News / The Directorate of Weather Forecast and Seismic Monitoring in Kurdistan Region warned on Sunday of a severe decrease in the average temperature.

The directorate said in a statement today, "We draw the attention of the residents of mountainous regions, districts, sub-districts, and all provincial centers in Kurdistan Region from a very cold wave and record a decrease in temperature rates."

The directorate expected the wave to continue for the next three days.

In addition, Sharbavir district education directorate and Benjoun district in Sulaymaniyah governorate have suspended their official working hours due to the low temperatures.
