Shafaq News / The Tourism Authority of Kurdistan Region announced on Thursday closing most tourist facilities in the region, in order to contain the emerging Corona virus.

The authority issued a statement received by Shafaq News, which includes several points, as follows: the closure of summer resorts, game cities, tourist complexes and all cafeterias.

The statement pointed out that it is forbidden to sit down to eat in fast food restaurants (except for take away, it is permitted), and to close all one   star and two stars restaurants.

In its statement, the authority stated that these decisions come into effect from March 12/2020 to 1/4/2020.

In its statement, the authority stressed the directorates affiliated with it in the provinces of Kurdistan Region to implement those decisions and monitor the commitment of places to implement them.
