Shafaq News/ The Ministry of Interior of Kurdistan region announced on Wednesday evening, a ban on movement among the provinces of the region for a period of two weeks, as part of a set of special measures to prevent Corona virus.
In its decisions, the Ministry stated, "a ban of movement for citizens among the provinces of the region with the exception of medical, diplomatic, international organizations, security and commercial forces, in addition to special urgent cases from 14-3-2020 to 28-3-2020. Ban of movement among its provinces to prevent Corona Virus.
The Ministry also prohibited movement between Kurdistan Region and other Iraqi governorates except in the most necessary cases and with the approval of the operations room formed in the governorates and administrative units headed by the governor or the supervisor of the independent administrative unit, indicating that this prohibition begins from March 14 to 28 of it.
The Ministry also decided to limit and reduce the movement and commercial import at the three crossings of Bachmakh, Proizkhan and Haj Omran, and it grants authority to the Director General of Customs to organize the commercial movement in a manner that does not cause any contact between citizens and drivers.
