Shafaq News / The Minister of Interior of Kurdistan Region announced on Monday, the continuation of the procedures followed to ban roaming in the cities of the region until midnight today.
"After consulting with the governors and the meeting of the ministry, it was decided to extend the curfew until 12 a.m. after receiving the response from the governors and administrators to give the authorities the necessary measures to be taken," Riber Ahmed said at a press conference in Erbil.
"The provinces and independent departments will issue new decisions after the deadline in this regard expires," he added.
"Until the 10th of April, the curfew will be complete from 6 p.m. until 12 a.m. , and the rest of the time will be according to regulations that are determined by the provinces in order to go about daily life."
Regarding the mechanism for transporting press and media cadres in the region, Ahmed stressed, "The media people are free to roam, on the condition of authorization from their institutions, and I ask them to cooperate.
