Shafaq News / Kurdistan Minister of Health, Saman Al-Barzanji confirmed on Thursday that the region has not entered the dangerous stage of the outbreak of Corona virus.

The minister said in a joint press conference held with the Governor of Halabja , Azad Tawfiq today, that it is not possible to determine a specific rate of Corona infection in the region, as it varies day to day, but what is gratifying is that what is recorded of infections is not in large numbers.

He added that reducing the casualty rate depends on the extent of citizens' commitment to preventive measures and instructions.

"We are in the stage of diagnosing and treating Corona virus," Al-Barzanji said, adding that the largest number of people infected with the virus are stable and have not reached dangerous stages.
