Shafaq News / The Department of Foreign Relations of Kurdistan Regional Government announced on Wednesday the evacuation of 91 Kurdish students from Armenia.
The department said in a statement today that it has evacuated 91 Kurdish students by a flight from Armenia to Kurdistan Region, as among them 57 students from Sulaimaniyah, 21 from Dohuk and 13 from Erbil, explaining that due to the suspension of flights, these students were stuck in Armenia.
The statement noted that the students were evacuated in coordination between the Department of Foreign Relations of Kurdistan Region and the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The statement added that the students' flight has arrived today from Armenia to Erbil International Airport and will be under quarantine for 14 days, according to the measures taken to combat the outbreak of the new Corona virus.
