Shafaq News / Kurdistan Regional Government KRG decided on Wednesday to include the nurseries, schools and institutes affiliated with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs with the vacation granted to the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Government spokesman Jutiar Adel said in a statement today that the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has the authority to organize hours in nurseries, schools, and affiliated institutes, taking into account the provisions of the decision and the purposes for its issuance.

KRG decided to suspend the official hours in public and private schools and kindergartens from Wednesday, 26^th  February till 10^th of March, and the decision to suspend universities and government and private institutes also includes that from Saturday, 29^th  February till 10^th of October, after which the spring break begins From 11^th  of March till 23^rd  of the same month, provided that the official working hours will be resumed on the 24^th of next month, while it was decided to authorize the Ministry of Education to find a suitable mechanism through which the days off during the current school year will be compensated.
