Shafaq News / The Joint Crisis Coordination Centre (JCC) of the Ministry of Interior of Kurdistan Region announced on Thursday that it has received the third package of medical equipment from Germany, which is to be distributed to the security forces, airports and border ports in the region.

"So far Germany has provided us with the third package of aid to curb Covid-19," the center's director, Hoshink Mohamed said at a press conference today.

"We thank the German Federal Agency for medical aid, which since the first case of Corona infection was registered in the region , it has provided assistance urgently," he said, noting that the latest assistance will be distributed to government departments in all provinces of Kurdistan.”

Mohamed noted that the equipments that arrived today is for the first line -people who, such as the internal security forces "Asayish" , Thalassima hospitals , the border crossing teams and airports.

Hoshink Mohamed said that aid consists of 250,000 masks, 150,000 gloves, 1,300 medical masks, and 15,000 special medical kits for those who conduct medical tests with 100 pieces of medical clothing, especially for those who work in places where quarantine is imposed.
