Shafaq News/Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday that Russian President ,Vladimir Putin had assured him that the YPG fighters would not be allowed to stay in Syria on the border with Turkey under the " regime’s system."

Erdogan made the remarks to NTV on his return flight from the Black Sea resort of Sochi, where he met Putin on Tuesday.

Ankara and Moscow agreed at the meeting to remove YPG and its weapons from areas on the Syrian-Turkish border not covered by a previous similar agreement with the United States.
