Shafaq News/ An earthquake hit Sadiq district (60 km) east of Sulaimaniyah city in Kurdistan region, the General Authority for Meteorology and Seismology in Iraq announced on Monday.

The Authority said in a statement today that its observatories recorded an earthquake this morning at 7:52:12 local time (18 km) southwest of Sayed Sadiq / Sulaymaniyah.

The quake measured 3.7 on the Richter scale and was lightly felt in Halabja province, adding that no damage was reported.
