Shafaq News / The Ministry of Interior of Kurdistan Region is scheduled to conduct a military maneuver on Sunday for "Zirvani" forces evening of protecting Erbil International Airport.

The ministry issued its statement to "the citizens on the outskirts of the airport that these forces will conduct a military maneuver," adding that this maneuver will extend a distance of about five kilometers to the north of the airport.

"We call the attention of the population that the exercises are only for military training and there is no cause for concern.

According to the ministry, the aim of this maneuver is to "evaluate and strengthen the military capabilities of Zirvani forces."
