Shafaq News / Halabja Governorate Administration announced on Sunday tightening procedures to ward off the dangers of corona from the governorate.

"We call on the population to adhere to the instructions and preventive measures during the coming days because the procedures may be tightened even more in order to protect citizens from the risks of the virus and so that we can pass this stage through as well as Kurdistan Region successfully”. The mayor of the province, Noksheh Nasih said in a press conference she held after a meeting with the provincial chamber of commerce.

She added, "With regard to the livelihoods that are on the market, they must also abide by health instructions and guidelines."

Nasih pointed out that last night, rumors spread about the occurrence of a petrol crisis in Halabja, and after follow-up , it was found that there is no crisis, adding that "we will be clear and frank with the citizens in the event of any crisis, whether with food or goods and services."
