Shafaq News / The mayor of Sulaymaniyah province announced on Tuesday a security plan for New Year's Eve.

The mayor of Sulaimaniyah ,Awat Muhammed said in a press conference held today, that within the framework of this occasion, several events will be held in Sulaimaniyah, indicating that the province will be responsible for securing these activities and providing services on this night.

He added that on New Year's Eve, Asayish security forces, the civil defense police, and Major General (1) in Sulaimaniyah, the traffic police, and the medical teams will be on alert to protect the citizens ’property and provide services to them.
