Shafaq News / The last patient with Covid-19 has recovered totally and was discharged from the hospital in Halabja city in Kurdistan Region, the health director of Halabja Province, Dr. Azad Mustafa announced on Sunday.

“After the last patient recovered, a new stage will be taken through strengthening preventive measures, Mustafa said in a joint press conference held with the mayor of the governorate, Noshekah Nasih.

She added that the preventive measures taken by the Ministry of Health of Kurdistan Region were strong and were among the main factors that strengthened curbing the virus.

Mustafa added by saying that Halabja's health department has made the necessary preparations in case the virus appears again in the province by allocating a hospital to treat the infected people.
