According to a statement issued by the presidency received by "Shafaq News", the presidency issued a decree calling for the elected parliament    to convene a session on Tuesday, 1/7/2014 to preside over the meeting, by the oldest member”.

Vice-president of the republic , Khodair al-Khuzaee said in a statement yesterday that it would issue a decree in order to speed up the formation of the new government.

 Kurdish blocs and Motahedoun coalition, led by outgoing Parliament Speaker , Osama al-Nujaifi and the National Coalition one of the parties of the Shiite alliance reject giving the outgoing Prime Minister , Nuri al-Maliki and the winner in the first legislative elections by 95 votes to take a third term.

Opposed blocs to the third term of Maliki have questioned the election results, which was announced last May in which State of Law coalition came in the first place.
