but some parties did not care about it, pointing out that Peshmarga forces are "committed to the full national responsibility in the defense of all Iraqi components."

A statement received by “Shafaq News", said that “ a joint military government meeting was held  on Saturday night, under the supervision of Vice President of Kurdistan Region , deputy commander of Peshmarga forces ,  Kesert Rasool , head of Kurdistan Regional Government , Nechirvan Barzani and the participation of a number of senior leaders and officials in Erbil city.

The statement said that according to the recommendations of the President of Kurdistan Region and Peshmarga forces leadership, Massoud Barzani , the meeting discussed the decline of the Iraqi army in the number of Iraqi provinces as well as the vacuum by Kurdistan Peshmarga forces caused by the withdrawal from those areas and to protect Security and safety of Kurds, Arabs , Turkmen Sunnis, Shiites and Christians citizens.

The statement considered Peshmarga forces as committed to the full national responsibility with this belief, we constantly move to reassure residents of areas controlled by Peshmarga forces   that "the lives and security of their areas are fully protected and there are no risks."

The statement stressed that the Kurdish leadership has repeatedly warned of a similar situation to what is happening today, but it also said that there was no attention to these risks by some parties.

The statement stressed the position of the defense position of Peshmarga forces   which did not take in any offensive position, stressing that it does not want to create any chaos in the front trenches of the troops.

The statement noted that the solution of the current situation is to resort only to real political solution, not a military solution, stressing that in the event of finding a consensus among Shiites, Sunnis and Kurds and all other components then the stability and development will return to Iraq.

The statement noted that the meeting decided to form a Chamber of security and military operations in accordance with the laws in Kurdistan and the participation of competent institutions, hinting to the formation of rooms to similar operations on a temporary basis in different areas that all operate on the basis of mutual cooperation among all the components.

The statement said that it was decided during the meeting to authorize the official spokesman of the General Command of the security forces of Kurdistan Region Lt. Gen. Jabbar Yawar to release statements on facts and events about the military and military moves of Peshmarga forces.

The statement also stressed continue to provide humanitarian relief to the families that came from Mosul city and other provinces, calling on the citizens of the province to help those displaced families as part of the security and administrative directives.

The meeting also called on the international community to take all means in order to deliver humanitarian cooperation for the displaced families that went to Kurdistan, stressing the participation of Kurdistan Regional Government in the process of providing the necessary assistance to those displaced families.

The elements of the so-called Islamic state in Iraq and the Levant "Daash" has seized control of Mosul city and a number of districts and areas in Nineveh, Kirkuk and Salahuddin after the sudden withdrawal of the Iraqi Army in charge of maintenance of these areas, which has caused the displacement of tens of thousands of its inhabitants towards safe areas in Kurdistan.
