It was included in the program of today's meeting to nominate a candidate of Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) , Nechirvan Barzani to form the next Kurdish government and a deputy to him by PUK , but the Parliament and after extensive discussions by its members reached a decision to postpone naming the prime minister to the upcoming sessions .
The majority parliament decided to discuss the issue of deputy prime minister next week , declaring that if PUK did not reach an agreement to choose a candidate of the government’s presidency to form his ministries alone .
Kurdish sources talked a few days ago on the nomination of PUK for Qobad Talabani and Qader Hama Jan for the post of Deputy prime minister but till now there were no assurances by the leadership of PUK on this issue and did not present any candidate during today's session for this post.
