“The federal budget is marred by a lot of the problems and we will not attend the discussion sessions that have not been modified by the government ,” MP of Kurdistan Alliance , Hamid Bafi told “Shafaq News “.
He explained that " the government put conditions in the budget and punitive measures on Kurdistan Region if it did not export 400 000 barrels of oil per day , we reject these conditions and will not accept them “.
The Iraqi Parliament couldn’t till now after the end of its period from approving the federal budget for 2014 due to disagreements among the political blocs on the terms and clauses contained in the law .
The Parliament has formed two committees , one triple , and the other is four-member committee from the various parliamentary bloc but they failed to reach a solution to the budget approval as a result of the dispute over the share of Kurdistan region , as the federal government seek to deduct a part of it because the regional government didn’t commit with dues of oil exports , and compel it to export 400 000 barrels per day .
