“The parliament did not vote on Iraq - Saudi Arabia agreement for the exchange of prisoners,” A member of the legal committee, Mushreq Naji told “Shafaq News”.

Naji didn’t mention the reasons for rejecting the Convention.

It is noteworthy that Riyadh and Baghdad had signed in 2012 an exchange agreement of sentenced prisoners between but they it had not been implemented due to lack of approval by the legislative authority in Iraq.
