“There is property belonging to the former regime in France and funds in Switzerland as we will work next week to follow-up the issues in the two countries ,” The deputy head of the commission , Bkhittar al-Khathi told “Shafaq News “.
“Accountability and Justice Commission is working to expose those property , while a committee from Justice , Finance ministries and Council of Ministers will take over the receipt of such property ,” he added.
Accountability and Justice Commission had announced last year the start of proceedings on recovery of property of the former regime inside Iraq and in the Arab and foreign countries , but it was postponed and devoted themselves to resolve about 120 000 files related to reinstatement of employment or assignment to the retirement of covered with procedures .
