He noted that the two sides discussed bilateral relations , stressing the continuation of the friendship between America and Kurdistan .

He noted that the last contact included another axis related to the Iraqi situations , especially the security situation , relations and negotiations between the federal government and the regional government .

He also noted that the two sides stressed that the current phase as a sensitive phase, arguing the need to maintain contacts and exchange of views between Washington and Erbil.

Barzani and his accompanying delegation have left Kurdistan in 15 of last month , in a visit to a number of European countries in addition to his meeting with President of Austria in Vienna .

Barzani had participated in the World Economic Forum in Davos and also met on the sidelines of the conference many of the leaders and heads of countries in the world .
