“The visit comes after reaching common understandings in the previous visit by KRG delegation to Baghdad on 25 of last December where the two sides exchanged many ideas and proposals to address the problems,” The spokesman of KRG , Saven Dazia said in a statement reported for " Shafaq News ".

He noted that the delegation will discuss in this visit with the government in Baghdad the issue of the budget , oil file and other outstanding problems between the two sides in order to reach solutions and to hold more talks and more details on the basis of the interests of the Iraqi people as a whole.

He added that KRG in accordance with the constitutional and legal basis made ​​many strong and practical proposals to the Iraqi government in the hope that it would make positive results during today's meeting.

Dazia stressed that KRG always believes in addressing the problems through dialogue , negotiations and mutual understandings , pointing out that during the meeting that took place on 25 of last December , the two sides reached common understandings set on this basis .

The issue of the extraction , production and export of oil from Kurdistan to Turkey according to agreements between the two sides is considered of the main points of disagreement between Erbil and Baghdad , where Erbil insists on the constitutionality of the procedures carried out by it while Baghdad rejects exporting oil without its consent and deposit amounts at SOMO .

The Iraqi government has threatened yesterday to punish all of the region and Turkey if continued its operations in the export of oil .
