Shafaq News/ The military wing of the National Wisdom Movement, led by Ammar al-Hakim, announced on Monday that it would sue the head of the local government in Najaf province, Louay al-Yasiri, and its representative in parliament, Adnan al-Zarfi asking the latter to reveal the bodies behind the attack on the shrine of the founder of the Supreme Islamic Council in Iraq, Mohammed Baqer al-Hakim.
The statement said that "the irresponsible statements made by the governor of Najaf, Luay al-Yasiri and MP Adnan al-Zarfi, make us in front of many questions, the most important of which is the disclaimer of responsibility or is it an external agenda that wants to distort the image of the Popular Mobilization Forces?"
The statement demanded the governor of Najaf and MP Adnan al-Zarfi "to reveal the identity of those behind the attack on" the tomb of Hakim.
"The leadership of the 8th Ashura Brigade reserves its right to respond to these false allegations, as We have hired a lawyer to file a lawsuit against those accused without the evidence being presented by the governor of Najaf and the deputy al-Zarfi " the statement said.
