According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Transport, a commercial ship has arrived at the port of Umm Qasr south of Basra with a tonnage of 41 750 tons of rice and Basra ship of tonnage of 8,000 tons of sugar, explaining that the cargos are for the Ministry of Commerce.

The statement added that the port berths received Thor Diener ship loaded with pipes and the ship Ban Zay with a cargo of containers and the ship ASEAN with a cargo of vehicles and Atlantic cargo loaded with equipment.

The statement said that the commercial port of al-Maqal in central Basra received with Othman, Frud, al-Rabee and Haadera steamers with variety of tonnage.
